I talked to Gabriella about those things and we decided to continue together.

She said that she loved me.. that was all I wanted to hear from her. Next week we're going to start a culinary course - both of us love cooking! We had planed this a long time ago, I'm sure it'll be a nice experience.

I'm looking for help online so hope I find some decent helpful people here.

I love my girlfriend and can't imagine life without her, the problem is that for some time we have clashed over everything and had a hard time. She is a very strong person and my heart is weak in comparison, I get hurt very easily and she uses this to her advantage, shows no emotion at the time which I can't cope with.
I can't quite look at her with the same adoration anymore and now something else has happened and I am a wreck thinking about what is right and what I should do.

The frustration in my relationship seems to be unresolved for long enough, criticism, stonewalling, contempt or apathy can become the defense mechanisms that can destabilize the relationship. I really don't want to break up with Gabriella because I still love her so much... I wish things could be as they used to be.
